Trying to keep up with him

He's Aston telling me I am his No 1 mom while holding his No 1 Dad's hand. Rob had to really be on his toes to stay with him in the kiddies pool and Aston definately has no fear at this young age. He'll have a go at anything. And is very quick on his feet.

Here's Rob encouraging him to go in one direction, ie back to the kiddies pool, while he thought the bigger more exicting pool was worth a look.

The Sydney summer arrives

It's been very hot the past few days so we've taken Aston to the local pool next door to Sydney Uni.

Needless to say our little water baby still LOVES the water.

The pool is mainly under shade though the pic below looks a bit sunny but I had him lathered and I mean lathered in sun block cream.

riding along in my automobile

Here's Aston with his new Wheelbarrow. It plays 4 wiggles songs depending on which button you hit.

As predicted Aston was also very keen to climb into in for further exploration.

More toys

We didn't really overdo the toys this Christmas, though it's important to note that he has mostly grown out of all the toys he currently has except a couple of them which he'll still play with occassionally. This tip truck was a real winner though

And his little train set, which is probably a bit old for him at the moment but he recognises 'Thomas' and enjoys trying to push the train on the track.

More gift unwrapping

This wiggles wheel barrow is so cool because he loves to groove to the music it makes.

He's also go the hang of wheeling it round.

Though he wasn't so impressed with his Mom & Dad's new iron for Christmas and quickly abandoned it for other more interesting toys.

Christmas Morning

Aston's spied the pile of presents waiting for him on Christmas morning and raced on over to see what the story was.

We made sure he read his card from Santa first as this is good manners.

Enjoying the warmer weather

Aston LOVES water at the moment. You can't keep him out of it.

He loves pouring water, drinking water and splashing in water.

He loves standing under the shower and turning the cold tap on himself.... I love if I don't catch him in time it's another outfit change for the day.

We also love watching him play in the shaddy corner of the balcony on a hot afternoon with his water mate.

Still keeping us busy

He makes me laugh so much when he runs through the place laughing ... he thinks it is so funny.

He still LOVES hiding in the wardrobe

And bouncing up and down on his car seat like its a joy ride at Disneyland.

Here he is relaxing for a brief second before getting up and at it again

Constantly climbing

I've also taken to making him wear his hat in the apartment during the day because he runs inside, outside all the time and the sun has been so fierce. And he looks so damned cute in it ... very little house on the Prairie

running for the bath

He thinks it's so funny when we let him do a nudey run through the apartment on his way to the bath each night and it cracks us up.

Here he is deciding if he wants the camera or wants the nudey run more!

The Naughties Ever!

And let's face it, he can be pretty naughty but we'd come home from grocery shopping, Rob was bringing his car seat up and I was frantically trying to get all the glass bottles and tins out of the shopping bags before he could drop one on his foot, because he empties those bags all over the floor faster than I can grab stuff from him ...

And he helps himself to the fridge and does this!

Normally we don't buy carton milk for that very reason, but it was all that was available at the shop on Friday. So wickedly naughty but I had to take a minute to capture it on the blog before cleaning the whole mess up.
