Q. Where are we now!

A. At Lugarno

That's right, apologies for the lack of posts in the past 10 days but we have had walls, doors, parts of the roof, and floors demolished and rebuilt over the past 10 days and have up until Monday of this week been living in a building site.

The decision was made to move out on the Monday for two weeks to assist in having the house put back together in a reasonable timeframe before Darren arrives. We're running a little close to the wire on our timings to have things done before he gets here, and at a minumum obviously need a floor to walk on and a room for him (much less us) to sleep in.

So stay tuned as the floors were finished being laid yesterday and the Bedroom wall is going up today and tomorrow. It will probably be another week before we are back in action with the blog updates, but rest assured we've taken plenty of photos of the process, and Aston along the way so will have loads to update. He especially enjoyed watching the big truck with the crane on the end of it loading the floorboards down our driveway.

A party hat and a wand!

Aston made both of these himself at Maddie's 3rd bday and had a lovely time running around with Stella all afternoon.

On the way to Maddie's 3rd bday party

Aston insisted on carrying the present himself, he kept dropping the box and the card, accidently walking on the card and squashing the box.

Determined as he was it looked a little worse for wear by the time we arrived

Activities during the week

Driving to Broadway with Poo! Aston askes to go to Broadway every day at the moment. Though he keeps telling me that Ma-ene and O will be there as well. (Maxine and Zoe)

Body art!

I saw on another mothers blog recently she had her girls paint each other, we'd done the feet painting thing a few weeks ago which he enjoyed so when i say this I thought, there's a good idea to entertain for a while. So that's what we did this afternoon.

Aston thought it was a hoot!

And finally a big smile for the camera!

Ashfield cultural festival

With free petting zoo!

Aston liked the goats, and I noted I was the only mother who brought out the wipes when he'd finished to wipe all that good wholesome country germs off his hands!

Almost done

Still without vanity and shower, but you can start to get the idea!

The side of our house!

Checking out his stomach.... mor tea Ma is what he says every morning and afternoon when he thinks it's time to fuel that little tummy with more food. He thinks morning tea occurs at 9am, 9.30am, 11am, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm oh and then it's dinner time!

Kid Proof?

No trip to the park is complete these days without Aston letting himself out the kid proof gate. I've has so many other mothers comment that he's able to 1. not only reach, but 2. let himself out the kid proof gates in the park. I often hang back and watch him and when he gets those gates open, he's off like a shot. Obviously we're hot on his heals. Geeze
