Hail Aston's latest trick, sticking one or two hands if possible in his mouth to test out his gag reflex ... and my nerves. He's almost found just the thumb rather than the unpleasantness of the whole hand, this in spite of having the dummy shoved in his face to help him sleep - he's now started spitting it out in favour of the hand. And the dripple, he can wet my shoulder in seconds with all the dribble we are getting.
Today we went to our second Mother's and Babies group and everyone commented on what a beautiful baby he was - large but beautiful. There was one Mother in particular who we met last week with a 12 week old girl who likes looking at Aston. She's a very dainty, pretty little girl (ie half Aston's size and older). Well today she sat there for about 15 minutes looking at Aston from just 30cms away. Aston was checking out the down lights for most of this time but found her in the last 5 or 6 minutes and gave her the serious Aston look, though he seemed pretty interested in the end and took his hand out of his mouth for the stare off. Thankfully as he's slightly more attractive without the hand impediment.

Ahhhh, Aston - already making an impact and impression on the lay-dees! Must be the Australian in him coming out!
Pretty soon he'll be asking the girls out, and daddy will have to sit Aston on his knee, to explain to him all about the 'birds and the bees'!
