The Weekend just gone

We had a quiet weekend this weekend, with only one outing to the posh Park Hyatt down on the creek to catch up with Glen, Cheri and Franzi. Aston was as always entirely taking with the lighting effects of this particular outdoor bar and we enjoyed a few hours on the deck in the late afternoon, before coming home to sandwiches for dinner as we forgot the keycards when we went shopping - doh.

Aston's Aussie Passport has now arrived and we have 3 weeks left to arrange his visa so Rob's going to get this started on Sunday - we dón't want him getting deported now do we.

We also hit Safa Park on Fri morning and did two laps (3.5kms each lap) we managed a mere 2kms in jogging after our six month break and walked the rest. Fear it will take some time to build back up to the 10km stints we were doing before the pregnancy.

We managed a coffee (and fresh juice for me) break at the Lime Tree cafe after our exercise and today tried to repeat the exercise with much less success. Aston wasn't having a bar of it, so after a 2km walk - not even a ful lap - and witnessing a spectacularly stupid road accident as only dubai drivers know how to do, we took our wee one off to the Lime Tree for an unscheduled feed and sleep before quickly racing around Spinney's to get some groceries and heading home.
